I’m Ailie Hodgson and I’m the Northern Neonatal Care Coordinator supporting the RVI in Newcastle, Carlisle and Whitehaven Units.
A Neonatal & Paediatric Occupational Therapist by background I have extensive experience of early intervention and supporting families, babies and children adjust, cope with long term hospital stay, illness and palliative care.
With a special interest in education, effective MDT working and Service Users voices shaping practice, I’m determined to utilise these mechanisms in my role, to shape the future of neonatal care and improve services and outcomes for babies and their families.
I’m a mum to 3 young children and enjoy running, exploring the outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
