Forthcoming Courses and Modules

The post-registration university modules for nurses now consist of separate courses - a combined Low/High Dependency Care module and another for Intensive Care, but both are now offered at both Northumbria and Teesside Universities. All registrations for these modules are done online and require registration at the University of choice. Full details are contained within the Newsletters.

8th Network Annual Conference - Wednesday 20th September 2017 (The Durham Centre, Belmont, Durham, DH1 1TN)

Our flagship annual event now in its 8th year and once again being held at the Durham Centre. We are again combining a mix of local and national speakers of current topics of interest within neonatology and neonatal care. This year's topics include the ATAIN (Avoiding Term Admissions In Neonatal units), Transitional Care, the new Network transport service (NNeTS), Peer Reviews, BLISS Research support & new initiatives, research & audit updates as well as a presentation from the 2016 Sam Richmond Scholarship winners (the RVI PEAPOD team). Places are free but limited and can be booked here 

 

The following study days and conferences are not Network hosted or sponsored but are of specific interest to professionals involved with or that have an interest in neonatal care. They include national conferences, seminars and courses. Details can be found by clicking any links supplied;      

  

7th Annual Neonatal Palliative care and End of Life Care Conference Monday 6th February 2017 (London)  

Organised by Child Bereavement UK, this one day conference is aimed at maximising high quality care and support for babies, families and health care by developing the skills and confidence to work closely with families through palliative care and bereavement in your roles. A flyer can be found here

Educational resources, presentations and articles of interest

The Network is making some key educational resources available - these are based on various sources but will often be taken from Network-facilitated study days or workshops. In order to ensure these remain the intellectual property of the author unless otherwise stated, they have been converted and published here in pdf format. Even with this proviso, anybody accessing these is requested to not distribute further without the author's permission and any use should also always clearly acknowledge the author.
